All Blacks extend lead

The All Blacks have improved their position at the top of the world rankings following their last-gasp 29-28 win over the Wallabies in Brisbane.

Steve Hansen's team now find themselves on 93.15 points, 2.74 clear of the Springboks, although they haven't quite made up the ground they lost after suffering their first defeat in almost two years at Ellis Park earlier this month.

England remain third and Australia fourth, although the Wallabies' place could come under threat in November, as they currently sit just over one point clear of fifth-placed Ireland.

IRB rankings:

1. New Zealand 93.15
2. South Africa 90.41
