All Blacks stars under injury cloud
- 13 Sep 2017
Israel Dagg and Vaea Fifita are battling with injuries ahead of Saturday's Test against the Springboks.
According to Stuff.co.nz, the All Blacks duo sat out Tuesday's training due to a knee and shoulder injury respectively.
Should Dagg fail to recover, it could precipitate the reintroduction of Rieko Ioane to the lineup.
It would be a massive blow for the All Blacks if Fifita was ruled out after producing such a starring performance last Saturday.
Liam Squire and Sam Cane provide the All Blacks with ample back-up on the flank, though, while Sam Whitelock, Aaron Smith and Ryan Crotty are all said to be in line for a return to the starting lineup.
