Bulls lock banned
- 09 Jul 2013
Bulls lock Wilhelm Steenkamp has been found guilty of foul play and suspended for two weeks.
Steenkamp was cited for striking Sharks flyhalf Butch James with his head in last Saturday's game in Pretoria. A Sanzar judiciary found him guilty of the offence and handed down a sentence that will exclude him from this week's match against the Stormers.
After considering the video evidence, the judiciary declared that Steenkamp's actions were more reckless than intentional.
