Clean bill of health for Stormers

The Stormers will head into Saturday's match against the Rebels at Newlands with no new injury concerns.

Captain Duane Vermeulen and flanker Schalk Burger have benefited from the week’s break after suffering niggling injuries in the victory over the Brumbies a fortnight ago.

Wing Johnny Kotze (ankle stiffness) sat out Monday's afternoon session, but will be fit for selection this Saturday.

The Stormers are also likely to be boosted in the coming weeks by the return of Seabelo Senatla, who has missed a majority of the season on Springbok Sevens duty.

'We will need to take a look at him to see where he is at mentally and physically, but we could give him off this week to energise him before getting him back into the mix,' said Coetzee on Senatla's return. 'I want to ensure that he is 100% ready and in the right frame of mind before making a call on him [selection-wise].'
