Cheetahs make sweeping changes

Willie le Roux and Coenie Oosthuizen have been named in the Cheetahs' starting lineup for their match against the Brumbies in Canberra on Saturday.

The Springbok pair, who were rested against the Chiefs last week, are two of eight changes for the match in Canberra, with Le Roux coming in for Clayton Blommetjies and Oosthuizen for Maks van Dyk.

Loosehead prop Danie Minnie and hooker Torsten van Jaarsveld, who both played off the bench in Hamilton, will start alongside Oosthuizen in the front row, while Carl Wegner replaces Steven Sykes at lock in the only other change to the forward pack.

In the backline, coach Naka Drotské has also opted to rotate his centres, with Johann Sadie and Francois Venter replacing Rayno Benjamin and Michael van der Spuy in midfield. And at scrumhalf, Tian Meyer takes over from Shaun Venter, with Sarel Pretorius providing cover off the bench.

In a positional switch, Willie Britz moves from flank to eighthman, while Boom Prinsloo shifts to the side of the scrum in the No 7 jersey.
