Kockott closer to realising Test dream

Former Sharks scrumhalf Rory Kockott has been included in a 30-man squad for France's end-of-year Tests.

The 28-year-old joined Castres in 2011 and qualifies for France having lived in the country for three years. On Saturday, he scored 22 points as Castres beat Oyonnax 27-18 and was named Man of the Match.

Kockott is one of five uncapped players to be called up for the games against Fiji, Australia and Argentina. The others are 24-year-old New Zealand-born prop Uini Atonio, who plays for La Rochelle, Toulon prop Xavier Chiocci, Bayonne No 8 Charles Ollivon and Racing Métro wing Teddy Thomas.
