Kolbe faces drunk-driving charge
- 05 Nov 2013
It has been confirmed that Cheslin Kolbe was the Western Province player arrested on suspicion that his blood alcohol content exceeded the legal limit.
The 20-year-old was arrested at a routine road block and his lawyer Wallis Roux said they were still awaiting the results of the blood-alcohol test.
In a statement, WP Rugby said it 'fully supports safe and responsible road usage. WP Rugby will also support the player, who has an exemplary disciplinary record to date, through its employee assistance programme.'
