Lions ring the changes

The Golden Lions have made several changes for their match against Griquas in Kimberley on Saturday.

Jacques van Rooyen will start at loosehead prop ahead of CJ van der Linde, who drops to the bench. Hooker Robbie Coetzee is also promoted to the starting line-up with Willie Wepener providing cover. Lions U21 lock Ruan Venter will wear the No 4 jersey, as Willie Britz moves to No 8 and Jaco Kriel comes in at openside flank.

In the backline, Tian Meyer starts at scrumhalf, with Ross Cronjé, who has recovered from injury, on the bench. Andries Coetzee also starts on the wing, with Deon Helberg among the substitutes.
