Meyer must stick to his guns

I’m not surprised Heyneke Meyer has made just one change to his starting XV for Saturday’s Rugby Championship match against the Wallabies in Brisbane. With only four Tests before the World Cup, Meyer needs to build confidence quickly with this team in his toughest year to date.

Warren Whiteley did well at No 8 against the World XV, but it will be interesting to see how Schalk Burger performs in his first Test in that position since 2007. If Duane Vermeulen doesn't recover in time for the World Cup, Meyer will at least know what Whiteley and Burger can do at eighthman.
