No magic from benched Habana
- 01 Sep 2013
Bryan Habana played just 10 minutes of Toulon's Top 14 match against Grenoble on Saturday.
The wing had been released by Saru for this weekend even though the Springboks are just a third of the way through their Rugby Championship campaign and play the Wallabies in Brisbane on Saturday.
Toulon president Mourad Boudjellal said he was hoping for some Habana magic when the player made his Top 14 debut, but he didn't get much of a chance after coming off the bench so late in the game.
Habana also couldn't prevent Toulon from losing 28-26 at the Stade des Alpes, with Jonny Wilkinson missing the conversion of Matt Giteau's late try.
