Sanzar has confirmed that log points will not be awarded for byes in Super Rugby this season.

Previously, teams would receive four log points when taking a scheduled break.

‘We have listened to feedback and trust this makes it easier for fans to track their team's log progress throughout the Super Rugby season,’ said Sanzar media manager Alistair Hogg.
