Rohan’s motivated to perform

Lions centre Rohan Janse van Rensburg is on the cover of the new-look SA Rugby magazine, on sale this week.

When Janse van Rensburg’s mother, Renthia, passed away on 1 March after a brave battle with cancer, most expected him to skip the Lions’ match against the Waratahs three days later. However, the 22-year-old centre decided to honour his mother’s memory by playing at Ellis Park, and he did so with an outstanding display that included two tries.

In this issue of SA Rugby magazine, Janse van Rensburg tells senior rugby writer Craig Lewis how her passing has given him more motivation to perform on the field.
