The NTT Docomo Red Hurricanes have confirmed the departure of four South Africans.

They are Warren Whiteley, Ryan Kankowski, Heinrich Brüssow and Jurgen Visser.

In the promotion-relegation playoffs, the Hino Red Dolphins beat the Hurricanes 20-17 to replace them in the Top League for the 2018-19 season, with the latter being relegated to the Top Challenge League.

As a result, the Hurricanes will now see a number of high-profile departures, which include the likes of Bok captain Whiteley.

Meanwhile, Yamaha Jubilo also confirmed that former Stormers and Bulls winger Gerhard van den Heever has left the club.
