Stransky: Surgery went well

Joel Stransky is out of surgery after falling off his bike during the prologue stage of the Cape Epic on Sunday.
The 49-year-old former Bok flyhalf, who was riding in his eighth Epic, sustained bad face cuts, a broken rib and punctured lung.
Stransky tweeted on Monday:
Am completely overwhelmed at support & well wishes from all over world! Thank you! Surgery went well, lung on mend, almost pretty again! ����— Joel Stransky (@stranners) March 20, 2017
