Kings captain Steven Sykes will be joining French club Oyonnax after this Super Rugby season.

Sykes is one of three players that the Kings have confirmed will be departing later this year, with Jacobie Adriaanse set to join the Bulls, while Louis Fouché is heading to Japan.

'I have been playing professional rugby since 2004 and this has been one of my best years to date,' Sykes commented. 'But you have to take the opportunities when they present themselves.'
