Taute stays in Cape Town

  • 12 Jul 2013

Jaco Taute has signed a two-year contract with Western Province.

The 22-year-old joined the Stormers on loan from the Lions but suffered a knee injury early in the tournament. He became a free agent this month when his contract with the Lions expired.

'Jaco has signed a two-year contract with Western Province. It will come into effect from 1 November,' Taute's agent, Eduard Kelder, told Die Burger.

The future of flyhalf Elton Jantjies, who is also on loan from the Lions to the Stormers, remains uncertain.
