Van der Linde signs for London Irish

World Cup winning-Springbok prop CJ van der Linde will join London Irish for the remainder of the 2013-14 season.
The former Golden Lions tighthead, who has 75 Test caps, will replace Halani Aulika in the starting line-up as the Tongan has been sidelined with an Achilles injury.
'He’s a world-class scrummager and will bring a lot of experience and composure to our pack,' said London Irish director of rugby Brian Smith. 'His arrival is timely as we look to re-establish ourselves as a dominant scrum in the Premiership. I know [coaches] Glenn Delaney and Phil Keith-Roach are keen to work with a World Cup-winning tighthead.'
London Irish also recently attained the services of another international, Wallaby James O'Connor.
