Israel Folau and Kurtley Beale are battling injuries ahead of the Waratahs' clash against the Stormers in Cape Town.

The Waratahs have already lost Rob Horne to suspension, and may have to do without two more Wallabies players this weekend.

Folau is still recovering from a knock to the throat, an injury that was sustained prior to the Waratahs' tour to South Africa. Beale is recovering from whiplash after Sharks centre Frans Steyn flung him to the ground in last week's game at Kings Park.

Coach Michael Cheika will give the pair time to recover, and make the final call on their availability later this week.
