Whitehead boost for Kings

Tim Whitehead has recovered from a knee injury and will start for the EP Kings against Western Province this Friday.

Whitehead missed the Kings' last match against the Lions due to the injury. His return to the midfield sees Ronnie Cooke moving back to the wing, and Siyanda Grey to the bench.

The former Stormers player will partner Dwayne Jenner in the centres. The game at Newlands will mark Jenner's first in Currie Cup rugby.

Other changes see Lizo Gqoboka starting at loosehead prop, and Shaun McDonald at flank. On the bench, CJ van der Linde returns in place of Charles Marais, after recovering from a calf strain.
