Whitehead to 10 for Kings

The EP Kings have suffered another setback as first-choice flyhalf Gary van Aswegen has been ruled out of Saturday's match against the Golden Lions.

Van Aswegen is battling a groin injury, and will be replaced by George Whitehead at No 10. This follows news that captain Luke Watson has been sidelined for a month due to concussion.

Aidon Davis will replace Watson at No 8, but coach Carlos Spencer is yet to confirm a new captain. The other change to the pack sees BG Uys starting at loosehead prop ahead of Lizo Gqoboka.

Tim Whitehead has been named to start at outside centre, but is struggling with a knee injury and will need to pass a fitness test later in the week. If he is unable to play, Ronnie Cooke will move to 13 and Siyanda Grey will start on the right wing.
