Coenie van Wyk will start at fullback for the Cheetahs against the Reds in Bloemfontein on Saturday.
He comes in for Willie le Roux, who is being rested as per Saru's agreement with the franchises. Le Roux also sat out the game against the Chiefs in Hamilton.
There are no other changes to the team that beat the Force in Perth.
