Cooper out for four months

Wallabies flyhalf Quade Cooper will miss the June Tests as well as the remainder of the Vodacom Super Rugby competition after sustaining a serious shoulder injury.

Cooper was injured in the Reds' loss to the Rebels this past Saturday. It's since been confirmed that he will require surgery to repair his AC joint, and will be out of action for 16 weeks.

The injury has robbed the Wallabies of their star No 10, just a few weeks before their Tests series against France. Cooper is only expected to return in mid-September, which means he will also miss a few matches in the Rugby Championship.
