Double injury blow for Kings

The Kings counted two injury casualties after their Super Rugby match against the Lions at Ellis Park on Sunday.

Veteran winger Alshaun Bock had to leave the field midway through the first half after sustaining a bicep tear. Ntabeni Dukisa made his Super Rugby debut when he came on as Bock's replacement. But the 28-year-old also finished the game with a shoulder injury.

Kings team doctor Konrad von Hagen confirmed both players will be sent for further assessments on Monday to determine the extent of their respect injuries.

'With the team going on a break, Bock will go to see a specialist in Cape Town on Monday and only thereafter will we know the exact nature of the injury.

'Dukisa is our only other injury concern. He will have X-rays done to ascertain the nature of his injury.'
