Five moments that mattered

The key moments from the Vodacom Super Rugby match between the Sharks and Bulls at Kings Park, according to SIMON BORCHARDT.

11th minute – From a lineout on halfway, Lwazi Mvovo comes off his wing, takes a pass from Pat Lambie and breaks through the defence. He then sends a pass out to Paul Jordaan, who scores the first try.

26th minute – Trailing 13-6, the Bulls attack close to the Sharks' tryline and Anton Bresler is penalised for an off-the-ball infringement. The Bulls kick for the corner, win the lineout and are awarded a penalty 5m out. They take a tap, rumble it up with their forwards but Paul Willemse knocks on and the scoring opportunity is lost.

39th minute – The Sharks kick into the Bulls' 22 but instead of letting the ball go out, Jürgen Visser tries to catch it and puts a foot on the line, which results in a Sharks lineout.

40th minute – The Sharks win the lineout, but Pierre Spies forces a turnover. However, he has the ball ripped away by Cobus Reinach and the ball goes wide to Frans Steyn, whose cross-kick results in a try for Odwa Ndungane that makes it 23-9 at the break.

83rd minute – After a sustained attack against 14 men (with Bjorn Basson having been yellow-carded for a deliberate knockdown), Pat Lambie goes over for the Sharks' bonus-point try.
