Toulouse fightback stuns Toulon

Toulouse overturned an 18-0 deficit to beat Toulon 34-24 at the Stade Vélodrome on Saturday.

Toulon dominated the first 30 minutes, scoring two tries through winger Josua Tuisova.

But the visitors hit back late in the half when fullback Maxime Médard dotted down, and would score another three tries in the second half, with Médard getting a second and South African scrumhalf Jano Vermaak also crossing the line.

In other Top 14 matches, Racing Métro defeated Bayonne 12-6 in a tryless match at Stade Jean Dauger, Stade Français claimed a comfortable 40-26 win against Clermont at Jean Bouin, Bordeaux-Bègles lost 22-14 at home to La Rochelle, Jake White's Montpellier thrashed Lyon 45-17, Oyonnax beat Brive 24-3, and Castres claimed their first away win of the season, 16-12 at Grenoble, to keep their survival hopes alive.
