Nine Boks in final Lions squad

The Lions have named a 40-man squad for this year's Super Rugby competition.

Captain and No 8, Warren Whiteley, is one of nine Springboks in the squad. The others are wing Ruan Combrinck, centres Rohan Janse van Rensburg and Lionel Mapoe, flyhalf Elton Jantjies, scrumhalf Faf de Klerk, flank Jaco Kriel, lock Franco Mostert and hooker Malcolm Marx.

Blitzbok Kwagga Smith has also been included.
