Wepener at hooker for Lions

The Lions have made four changes to their match 23 for the game against the Reds at Ellis Park on Saturday.

Willie Wepener will start at hooker in place of the injured Robbie Coetzee in the only alteration to the run-on XV that beat the Blues.

Mark Pretorius comes on to the bench after performing well in the junior ranks and will provide cover at hooker. Stephan de Wit will also look to earn his first Super Rugby cap after Warwick Tecklenburg failed a concussion test this week, while utility back Lionel Mapoe has recovered from his hamstring strain.
