All Blacks and Chiefs scrumhalf Tawera Kerr-Barlow has signed a three-year deal with French club La Rochelle.

Kerr-Barlow, who has earned 25 Test caps, will head to France after this Super Rugby season, which would make him ineligible for All Blacks selection.

'It's been an awesome adventure, a little Maori boy from Darwin got to live his dream,' he commented.
