New Zealand Rugby have unveiled their latest jersey designs for the 2024 international season, commemorating 25 years of collaboration with its kit supplier.
The new All Blacks and Black Ferns jerseys feature a classic block-black base with unique silver details, including an enlarged fern emblem, the adidas logo, and the iconic three stripes down the shoulders for the first time.
Notably, the jerseys sport an all-white collar, reminiscent of the design worn during the All Blacks’ 2011 Rugby World Cup triumph.
The jerseys, developed with player feedback, boast a bespoke fit for both the men’s and women’s teams. The All Blacks version includes a double-knit fold-over design, while the Black Ferns’ features a round neck. Both jerseys have ergonomic side panels and a set-in-sleeve structure to enhance performance by minimising grip opportunities in close contact.
All Blacks star Jordie Barrett expressed pride in the new design, saying, “The jersey holds a special place to the people of this nation… As a player – we have a responsibility to ensure it is always passed on to the next generation in a better place.
“To witness adidas’ commitment to each jersey building on the last has been incredible.”
