Neutral venues, no fans for Varsity Cup

All four of next Monday's Varsity Cup matches will be played at Cape Town Stadium with no spectators allowed to attend.

The competition returns three weeks after student protests disrupted the Shimlas and NMMU match in Bloemfontein.

Going forward, all Varsity Cup matches will be played at the same neutral venue, with Soccer City in Soweto also a possible venue.

The matches that were postponed due to the continued unrest at universities around the country will played during the universities’ holidays and over the Easter weekend.
