Jaco Taute will wear the Stormers No 15 jersey against the Hurricanes at Newlands on Friday night.
Taute’s return sees Gio Aplon moved to the left wing, with Damian de Allende coming into inside centre and captain Jean de Villiers shifting to outside centre. Last week's midfield starter Michael van der Spuy falls out of the match-day 23 altogether.
Schalk Burger has also been passed fit after overcoming a groin strain picked up in the match against the Lions last weekend.
