Boks to tackle Wallabies in 100th Test

The Springboks will host Australia twice next year in a historic meeting between the Wallabies and Rassie Erasmus’ world champions.

Rugby Australia confirmed its 2027 international calendar this week, with the second Wallabies-Springboks fixture set to be the 100th Test between the teams, a rivalry stretching back to 1933.

Venues and dates for both matches are still to be confirmed.

The announcement follows the Wallabies’ 42-38 win over the Boks in Perth on Sunday.

Australia’s home season also includes an Anzac Day Bledisloe Cup Test in Brisbane, two Tests against Argentina and a clash with Ireland in Canberra, all building towards their home World Cup, where they open against Hong Kong in October.

Before that tournament, the Boks face Fiji in Gosford in their final warm-up, then open their title defence against Italy in Adelaide.
