Vodacom Bulls fulback Ulrich Beyers has joined Bordeaux as medical cover for the injured Darly Domvo.
The 24-year-old, who can also play centre, was taken on after impressing in trials at the French club last week.
Domvo is sidelined for the rest of the season with a knee ligament injury.
Beyers' departure means Jürgen Visser and Jesse Kriel will compete for the Bulls No 15 jersey in Vodacom Super Rugby.
