The Vodacom Bulls have been boosted by the return to fitness of three of their Springbok players ahead of their clash with the Blues at Loftus on Saturday.

Springboks Juandre Kruger (concussion), Marco van Staden (concussion) and Warrick Gelant (knee) as well as Blitzbok Tim Agaba (neck) have all regained their fitness and returned to training on Monday.

Kruger, Van Staden and Agaba will be in contention for selection, but call on Gelant’s availability will be made later in the week.

Meanwhile, prop Simphiwe Matanzima (AC joint) and hooker Louis van der Westhuizen (ankle) will both be sidelined for two weeks, while hooker Johan Grobbelaar is expected to be out for six weeks after undergoing ankle surgery in Cape Town on Monday.
