Donald to captain Chiefs against Lions

Stephen Donald will captain the Chiefs in Tuesday's match against the British & Irish Lions in Hamilton.

The 33-year-old flyhalf is one of five All Blacks in the team, along with Nepo Laulala, Dominic Bird, Hika Elliot and Liam Messam. Elliot and Messam also played for the New Zealand Maori on Saturday.

The Chiefs will be without six first-choice players, who are with the All Blacks squad.
