Eben Etzebeth has been ruled out of this Saturday's Test against Italy due to a concussion.

Etzebeth had to be replaced in this past weekend's encounter against England after colliding with big No 8 Billy Vunipola.

It's believed that no replacement will be called up, with Pieter-Steph du Toit likely to revert back to the second row, with Franco Mostert providing further lock cover.

On a positive note, Bryan Habana has overcome an injury niggle and was able to train fully on Monday, while Cheetahs flanker Uzair Cassiem has also joined up with the squad.
