England drop Daly against France

Bristol Bears fullback Max Malins will start ahead of Elliot Daly for England in their Six Nations clash with France at Twickenham on Saturday.

England coach Eddie Jones has largely resisted the temptation to make wholesale changes to his side, following their heavy loss to Wales in Cardiff last month.

The big change comes at fullback, where 24-year-old Malins replaces Daly, who drops to the bench. Malins, who made his debut against Georgia last year, will be winning just his seventh Test cap.

The rest of the backline remains unchanged, with captain Owen Farrell and flyhalf George Ford continuing their partnership.

There are a further two changes to the pack, as Charlie Ewels replaces Johnny Hill at lock, while hooker Luke Cowan-Dickie rotates in for Jamie George.

Anthony Watson will make his 50th appearance for England at right wing.

England – 15 Max Malins, 14 Anthony Watson, 13 Henry Slade, 12 Owen Farrell (c), 11 Jonny May, 10 George Ford, 9 Ben Youngs, 8 Billy Vunipola, 7 Tom Curry, 6 Mark Wilson, 5 Charlie Ewels, 4 Maro Itoje, 3 Kyle Sinkler, 2 Luke Cowan-Dickie, 1 Mako Vunipola.
Subs: 16 Jamie George, 17 Ellis Genge, 18 Will Stuart, 19 Jonny Hill, 20 Ben Earl, 21 Dan Robson, 22 Ollie Lawrence, 23 Elliot Daly.
