Springbok centre Andre Esterhuizen is expected to receive another suspension after he was red-carded for elbowing an opponent while in action for Harlequins this past weekend.

Esterhuizen was sent from the field after an off-the-ball scuffle, which followed an incident in December when he was suspended for four weeks after he also dropped an elbow into the face of Gloucester’s Lloyd Evans.

The 27-year-old will face a disciplinary panel on Tuesday, but is expected to be on the receiving end of another ban.
