A Northampton Saints fan has stuck to his word and inked his arm with Cobus Reinach’s signature.
Reinach has been in fine form for Northampton in the English Premiership and was recently named the tournament’s Player of the Month for December.
It was after the Bok scrumhalf’s inspiring individual performance in their win over the Worcester Warriors that Saints fan Sam Mobley tweeted that if Reinach scored in their next game, he’d get the scrumhalf’s name tattooed on his arm.
Okay, if @c_reinach scores on Friday against Chiefs I will get his name tattooed on me.. @SaintsRugby can we give him player of the season already? Quickly grab a signature off of him on a piece of paper titled ‘contract’ and have it expire in 2030..

Reinach scored an intercept try to win the game for Northampton, and Mobley followed through on his promise by getting the tattoo a day later, after Reinach had provided him with his signature in his own handwriting.
Mobley attended Northampton’s next home game on 18 January, and while Reinach didn’t play in that match, the pair met up afterwards.
