The Vodacom Bulls and DHL Stormers overpower their playoff opponents this week to advance to the semi-finals of the 2023-24 Vodacom URC, according to readers.

On Saturday, the Bulls host Benetton in Pretoria while the Stormers lock horns with the Glasgow Warriors at Scotstoun Stadium in the quarter-finals of this season’s competition.

A SA Rugbymag.co.za poll on the SA contenders’ prospects asked readers to predict which team would reach the final four, and the response was emphatic. Almost 60% predicted the Bulls and Stormers would win their last-eight clashes.

More than a third of the vote expected the Bulls alone would reach the final four, while three percent believed only the Stormers will contest the semis.

Less than 0.5% forecast no South African presence among the semi-final quartet.
