New injury setbacks for Bulls

Duncan Matthews has been ruled out of action for up to a month with a knee injury sustained against the Lions last week.

Bulls team doctor Herman Rossouw confirmed the fullback is one of two new injury setbacks following their 31-17 victory over the Lions at Loftus.

Captain Arno Botha dislocated his shoulder in the same match. According to Rossouw, a scan revealed Botha will be unable to train this week, ruling him out of their forthcoming clash with the Pumas in Nelspruit.

Winger Luther Obi, flank Jannes Kirsten and lock Jason Jenkins are all on track with their rehabilitation, with the trio expected to be available for selection next week.
