Take a look back at Springbok Warrick Gelant and Scotland international Duhan van der Merwe tearing it up in their schoolboy days.


Gelant, ‘The Boogeyman’, is described as being able to carve up any defensive line as if sidestepping a revolving door. Meanwhile, Van der Merwe is likened to the great Jonah Lomu for being ‘a beast’ on the wing.

It’s no surprise, then, that both players have gone on to have glittering international careers.
