Bryan Habana has confirmed he is alive and well after a fake news report claimed he had been shot dead in Paris.
On Thursday afternoon, a report on what appears to be a fake news website, claimed Habana had been 'tragically' killed in a drive-by shooting in Paris. The article went on to quote police sources, as well as Habana's 'management team', with both parties reportedly confirming the player's passing.
Habana said the claim was disturbing and clarified the situation with a poolside video.
'Hello guys, Bryan Habana here, just checking with in with you all.
'Apparently there is a massive rumour or false story going around that I've been killed. But as you can see I'm alive, I'm doing well and enjoying the south of France.'
