Fit-again Jordan Hendrikse will start at flyhalf when the Lions look to secure a place in the Challenge Cup playoffs against Dragons in Newport on Sunday afternoon.
Hendrikse missed the loss to Stade Francais in Paris last week through injury, but has recovered sufficiently to take his place as the starting flyhalf.
The only other change to the backline sees Andre Warner pair Hendrikse at halfback.
There is just one change to the pack, as hooker Michael van Vuuren switches in for PJ Botha, who rotates onto the bench.
Loosehead prop Morgan Naude, lock Pieter Jansen van Vuren and utility back Rynhardt Jonker have all been called up among the substitutes.
