Ireland coach Joe Schmidt has named his starting lineup ahead of Sunday’s crucial World Cup match against Scotland in Yokohama.
The injury-enforced absence of regular fullback and wing Rob Kearney and Keith Earls, opened the door for Andrew Conway to start at the back and Jordan Larmour out wide.
But Schmidt has changed things up by selecting the 28-year-old Conway at right wing, while opting to start Jordan Larmour, who is a regular winger, in the No 15 jersey.
Centre Robbie Henshaw has also been ruled out through injury, meaning Gary Ringrose comes in at outside centre to partner Bundee Aki in midfield.
In other changes to the side, lock Iain Henderson and flank Peter O’Mahony return to the run-on XV at the expense of Jean Kleyn and Jack Conan.
Ireland – 15 Jordan Larmour, 14 Andrew Conway, 13 Garry Ringrose, 12 Bundee Aki, 11 Jacob Stockdale, 10 Jonathan Sexton, 9 Conor Murray, 8 CJ Stander, 7 Josh van der Flier, 6 Peter O’Mahony, 5 James Ryan, 4 Iain Henderson, 3 Tadhg Furlong, 2 Rory Best (c), 1 Cian Healy.
