Jaden Hendrikse will start at scrumhalf in one of three changes to the Sharks starting XV for Saturday’s Vodacom URC match against the Lions at Ellis Park.

Hendrikse returns from Springbok leave to replace Grant Williams, who moves to the bench.

In the forward pack, injured tighthead prop Trevor Nyakane is replaced by Ruan Dreyer, while Deon Slabbert comes in for Corne Rahl in the second row.

Vincent Tshituka retains the captaincy with Bok skipper Siya Kolisi named on bench alongside Bok prop Vincent Koch.

Bok lock Eben Etzebeth, who has suffered from recurring concussion symptoms, remains sidelined.

The Sharks are currently fourth on the URC log, having beaten the Bulls 29-19 at Loftus two weeks ago.
