Jane to miss Cheetahs clash

All Blacks wing Cory Jane has been ruled out of the Hurricanes' game against the Cheetahs with a broken nose.

Alapati Leiua will take Jane's place in the Hurricanes backline, while another notable selection is that of scrumhalf Chris Smylie ahead of TJ Perenara.

Flank Ardie Savea is also part of a new loose trio that includes Faifili Levave and Blade Thomson. Jeffrey Toomaga-Allen is preferred at tighthead prop.

Hadleigh Parkes is back in the Hurricanes midfield after recovering from concussion. All Blacks centre Conrad Smith will play his 100th Vodacom Super Rugby match for the Hurricanes this weekend.
