Elton Jantjies has been bracketed with Marnitz Boshoff in the Lions' starting lineup for Friday's clash against the Crusaders at Ellis Park.
Jantjies is recovering from a wrist injury, and will be given until later in the week to prove his fitness. Should he fail to receive the all clear, Boshoff will start in the No 10 jersey.
Lock Andries Ferreira has also been bracketed with Lourens Erasmus, with a call on who will start set to be made later in the week.
The only definite change at this stage is the return of Warwick Tecklenburg, who comes on to the flank, with Ruan Ackermann dropping to the bench.
