Jeppe snatch dramatic win

Jeppe wing Cameron Burg scored a try after the hooter to give his side a 27-24 win against St Charles on day one of the St John's Easter festival.

Jeppe led 20-0 at half-time, before an incredible second-half fightback saw St Charles take the lead. But Jeppe finished with a flourish to snatch the win.

In other matches, three second-half tries in quick succession gave Hilton a 22-9 win against Nelspruit, winger Joshua Vermeulen scored 37 points as Paul Roos humiliated Italian side Viadana 94-0 in a 13-try romp, Garsfontein thrashed a Lions Invitational team 61-0, Monument cruised past St Benedict’s 38-15, and Paarl Boys' pummelled hosts St John's 52-0.
