Jeremy Ward has been suspended for two weeks for a dangerous tackle on England fullback Max Malins.
The incident occurred during Monday’s World Rugby U20 Championship semi-final, which England won 39-17.
Ward received a yellow card for his actions and appeared before a disciplinary committee on Wednesday evening, where his suspension was handed out.
Ward will therefore miss Saturday’s third-place playoff match against Argentina in Salford.
